Before entering the real estate profession, Joe spent 30 years in the international insurance market, first with The Aetna, and then with FM Global, retiring as the director of that company’s Special Lines Division.
He spent the next six years working as a self-employed consultant, specializing in small business reorganizations and turnarounds, and fraud-related risk management, primarily on the West Coast. He returned to Cape Cod six years ago and for a time headed up the Hyannis Area Economic Development Corporation as its Executive Director.
Joe has a Bachelor’s Degree from Providence College, an Executive MBA from Columbia University, and is a graduate of the four-week resident AMA Management Course. He is an Army veteran and a 25-year member of the American Legion.
Joe specializes as a buyer’s agent in the luxury housing market on Cape Cod, particularly in the Mid Cape and Lower Cape areas. He is married and lives with his wife Taffy, a professional Nantucket Basket maker, on Nauset Beach in East Orleans.
