FALL FOLIAGE AND BED & BREAKFASTS . . .

Posted to Beverly Comeau

What do they have in common? Indian Summer along Old Kings Highway (aka Route 6A). Did you know - AAA lists Route 6A as one of the most scenic fall foliage trips in New England.

Good for the soul- that’s how I feel about meandering 6A- even if it is just from Sandwich Village to Barnstable Village. Along the way are quaint little shops to explore- time to pick up a gift unique to Cape Cod. And an overnight stay at one of the B&Bs can re-energize the body and restore the spirit.

One of my favorite B&Bs is The Captain Chipman Inn which offers charming New England ambiance in a beautifully restored Greek Revival located near Sandwich Village. The innkeepers encourage you to relax in the library or enjoy refreshments on the private deck with views of a private pond, tidal saltwater marsh, sand dunes and Cape Cod Bay. During your stay, be sure to visit the Sandwich Glass Museum, Heritage Museums and Gardens, and Thornton Burgess Museum. Kayaks and bikes are available for rent at Eco-tours on Jarves Street. View the guest suites at http://www.CaptainChipmanInn.com or email Stan and Diane at stay@captainchipmaninn.com. I recommend reserving the Captain’s Suite- the views are superb!

Ever dream of retiring or settling down after years of traveling . . . but still want to personally connect with people from all over the world. . . owning a B&B offers this lifestyle.

The Captain Chipman Inn is exclusively offered for sale- either as a single family home or as a business. View this listing at http://www.BeverlyComeau.com. For an appointment, call Beverly Comeau at 508-364-0084 or email me at bcomeau@jackconway.com and I will send you a link to the listing information.

Experience Fall- our favorite season on the Cape!
