‘TIS THE SEASON. . . .

Christmas is such a magical time of year – the element of surprise lingers in the air. Sandwich Village is a magical place at Christmastime – the historic homes lit with sparkling white lights, candles in the windows, evergreens wrapping entry ways in preparation of the door decorating contest this week.

Since I live and work in the heart of the Village, amidst all the magic of the holiday activities, every day is filled with magic. So I wasn’t expecting another magical experience this weekend. But lo and behold, as I approached one of my listings to show to a cooperating realtor and her buyer client, I discovered an extraordinary full moon tide in the salt marsh abutting the property. It was breathtakingly beautiful! The buyers were running a few minutes behind schedule so I had the welcome opportunity of enjoying the tranquil views of the marsh – a flock of ducks walking along the water’s edge – the golden grasses swaying in the winds – cloudless blue skies. It was as if time stood still!

This home was recently featured in The Cape Cod Times – ‘Talk of the Town’ Section. The property is described as a prescription for total stress relief. The wide open living space boasts cathedral ceiling, sliders to an expansive deck, lots of windows to capture the views. A richly appointed Eldred Wheeler tiger maple kitchen will thrill any chef. The gathering area is warmed by a gas fireplace and wood floors. There are three bedrooms – the master features a sitting area, full bath, sliders to private deck. A two car garage with attached studio was built in 2003 and would be perfect as an office, guest quarters or potential in-law since there is a full bath, basement, separate heat and a/c. Sited on private 2.35 acre lot on cul-de-sac near Sandy Neck Beach and easy access to Route 6. Exclusively offered at $825,000. View multiple pictures of this exquisite property HERE. Walt Disney may have defined this Cape Cod getaway as an adult’s magic kingdom.
