Holiday magic- On Cape Cod and Historic Rte. 6A

If you come to Cape Cod around the Holidays, make sure you drive Rte. 6A after dark. It is magical! Antiques and Sea Captain Homes, inns, residences as well as businesses, all decorated with wreaths on their windows, lights on their porches and trees -- it is so welcoming. Everyone usually gets their property ready in early December. Just in time for the Holiday Strolls. Each town has its own.

Businesses open their doors to everyone, often serving a hot drink or their specialty to the happy "strollers" as they walk from one door to another. Definitely worth a reminder in your time planner, Blackberry or PDA: first weeks of December - Must visit Cape Cod!
